What to Expect You will be numbed with a topical numbing agent for 30 minutes prior to procedure to ensure you will be comfortable the entire time. Procedure then takes 20-30 mins. You can expect to very red right after the procedure, it may feel like a sunburn that evening. You will be pink/red the following day. Day 3, your face will be mostly back to normal. Post-Procedure Do nothing to your face the day of the procedure. (Unless you received an add-on procedure, then your provider will give you further instructions, if needed.) Wash your face the next morning with the provided gentle cleanser & follow with the hydrating creme. Continue these gentle products through day 2 & into day 3. It is best to avoid makeup the day after but it is okay to be applied after 24 hours, if necessary. Avoid sun exposure & always wear sunscreen - don’t waste your money! You may experience dryness & flakiness for up to a week after & is completely normal. Mild acne purging is also normal. Contact your provider if it becomes concerning. Do not pick! Wait a minimum of 30 days before doing your next microneedling. You may resume normal skin care routine after 3-4 days, as long as your skin is looking & feeling back to normal.

Avoid “using them” for 3-4 days (making out, or similar activities 🙂) Avoid straws for 1 week (pro-tip: minimize straw use for life) Avoid smoking, smoking will always increase your risk for lip lines & filler migration. Contact your provider if any swelling or bruising is concerning or if you experience any other symptoms or discomfort. Wait at least 2 weeks before getting more lip filler.

There is always a risk of bruising with Tox injections, but they are less common. Be sure that it has been at least 90 days since your last full treatment of Tox. If you aren’t able to see the muscles in that area contracting, it may not be time for you to get treated & should wait 1-3 more weeks to evaluate. What to Expect Procedure time is quite fast, only 2-5 minutes needed for actual treatment. Consultation & facial mapping by your injector will take the longest. It takes 2 weeks for your results to fully show. Pain level is usually quite low; the needles used are very tiny & our injectors are trained to inject in the most comfortable way possible with certain techniques. We carry most neuromodulators: Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, Jeuveau, & Daxxify. Pricing will vary based on area, muscle strength, goals, & aesthetic look. We always try to treat on more of the conservative side with the knowledge that it may require more later on at the 2 week mark or for subsequent treatments in the future. WE CAN ALWAYS ADD MORE, but we can’t take it away. All first time patients go through getting treated & then figuring out where tweaks need to be made so that their results are perfect & all we need to do is copy & paste each time you come for subsequent treatments. Our goal isn’t for you to just be wrinkle-free, but for you to love the way you look with Tox! Post-Procedure No exercising after the procedure on that day, the next day is fine. AVOID (day of): Anything that requires pressure or pushing on your facial muscles; laying down on a massage table, hats, facial massaging, or vigorous rubbing with skincare No restrictions once you have reached the day after your appointment. If there is any part of your treatment that you have question or concern with, you should absolutely follow up with your provider (no earlier than 2 weeks, & ideally no later than 3 weeks) for concerns to be addressed & corrected. We always recommend waiting til your treatment is 75-100% worn off before treating again (usually at the 3-4 month mark).
