Meeting the needs of our patients in this industry has required innovation and creativity, along with our skillset and continued education. The Altera story starts with two working moms who wanted to start empowering women through the scientific art of aesthetics.
What started as a small-time gig doing concierge aesthetics has blown up into a vision – started by co-owners Martina Kolovich, Janie Futch, and Gregory Kolovich. Their vision scaled the normal concept of what aesthetic medicine was.
Altera (formerly Refine) was originally started as a way to create accessibility to those that were wanting injectable services regularly, but also as a way to make it become a functional part of the lifestyle of the average woman or man. Our belief is that self-confidence is an integral part of health and overall well-being.
From the early days of “seeing patients in Martina’s living room,” whether it’s Refine or Altera, the goal has always been natural, conservative, effective, and accessible. The expansive team that now exemplifies Altera’s mission has made it into the amazing system of aesthetic providers that it is.
